Spots happen because oil glands at the base of the hair follicle get blocked. And then the oil builds up under the skin and you get your breakouts. Although spots are not painful or dangerous to your skin, they can be embarrassing to the person who has them.

Living With Spots
All though spots are not harmful to you, they can be embarrassing and upsetting. Especially if you are plagued with loads of facial spots. But they won’t be there forever. As soon as your hormones balance out, they will disappear. If they do start hurting, you may well have an infection and it is time to visit the doctors. But in most cases spots clear up with products from the drug store or natural remedies.
Try not to pick or poke your spots. If the skin breaks it can cause them to become infected.
